How's this look? (Catch can)
Just finished my cam swap + Installing my new LS6 Valley/Catch can set up.
Here are some pics for ya...
You know whats wierd to me... The line the goes from the throttle body to the passenger valley cover, doesnt that thing defeat the perpose of the catch can?
I mean, thats a direct port to sucking in oil withought the filtration of the catch can.
Just looks fishy to me...
Input?

that's very similar to what mine will look like once it comes in.
I just ordered mine on monday.
For the record mine will flow..
Valvecovers -> PCV -> Catchcan -> Intake manifold
That's the majority of what I've seen for those that don't have the LS6 valley PCV system.

Many pictures in that thread. The people that run a catch can to the PCV only do it because they dont have an LS6/LS6 Valley cover.

ls6 valley cover is not a cover and pcv valve in one, it is just a cover with an outlet to hook the pcv up to instead of hooking up to the rocker cover.
LS6 motors stll have a pcv valve between the valley intake and the intake manifold.
nice setup!

looks good... but if you want it to 100% get the oil out of the intake (the purpose of the catch can) rip teh whole pcv system off, throw it in the trash, cap all of that off, remove that hose going from the TB to the valvecover too, cap that thing off as well, run a line to yourcatch can on the side of it, and put a filter off the top. Any oil mist that would have clogged the little filter will now get colleted in the can, and you're now venting the pressure out thru the can. That's hwo I have mine hooked up, i reused the amw can I bought back when they first came out, looks/works fine. Ya don't really need the can actually, you can just put a filter on the end of a hose off the ls6 valley cover too, but eventually the oil fumes will saturate it.
That is a nice looking catch can to by the way.

As for the fresh air line going from the valve cover to the TB...there is very little oil that goes through that line (I never had any come through mine). It shouldn't matter either way if you keep it or dump it.
