Solid motor mount guys...
...what do you think of them? I searched and read stickies, but I didn't see much input from people who are using these. Found that most use poly.
Also, how was the install?
-My car is a non DD, cam/heads/high stall/LT's and true duals. I've got way too much flex and rubbing down below!

If you do get spohn's. Good design, and great guys to deal with.

I have them. If you have clutch chatter, I highly suggest getting solids. They don't allow the engine to move back and forth. I now have zero chatter.
On the other hand, I have some extra interior vibration. At idle, the gauge bezel will vibrate along with the radio bezel. This all goes away once I get to driving.

I take that back, at about 70 mph my gauge bezel had a slight vibration, but I used felt strips behind it (where it contacs the dash pad) and it got rid of it totally.

Another spohn solid mount owner here. I love them, install went easy, but I have deleted P/S, AC and abunch of other crap. If those were there, it might make it harder? No vibrations, running a MS3 with 4400 converter in a LQ9. Never noticed my engine moving either, until I saw some front angle pics of my car launching....wow tranny pan was bad tweaked.. These defenatly solved that problem. I say get 'um.

Don't know? Might be one of those "old man tricks" lol. Spohn don't say anything about that, and I like knowing my bolts are tight and a piece of rubber isn't what is controlling load on my engine mount bolts... Stick with what's proven.

Do you guys with solid mounts not have any problems with your knock sensors?
