I just got done installing my TSP catted-Y off my Pacesetter LT's with a new SLP Loudmouth II catback. Everything I had fit up perfectly, great ground clearance and all. The only problem I had was cutting and grinding the old welds on the headers smooth from where the old x pipe was welded on. That and the fact that UPS so royally F&&&ed up the TSP box that the short pipe on the Y that connects to the drivers side catted pipe was oval instead of round so I had to use the BFRM mod to get it to slide over the pipe like it was supposed to.

I am glad someone has had a positive experience with it. My I pipe is too short, but thats probably because I used the back side of an axe and a 4x4 block of wood to beat the y pipe onto the headers. I dont care how I adjust this y pipe, its never right. The clearance is terrible IMO. And if you're like me and you were stupid enough to use the u clamps the first time you put it on then you're screwed. Its an ordeal to adjust it to where it isnt either banging or dragging over everything. BTW, this y pipe has made me put a bumpstop on and poly mounts. Neither of which made the car any better with this thing on. So, its coming off and a pacesetter y is going on. The flat spots in the pipe are apealing to me. Who cares if it doesnt flow as well, its just temporary until I move to a state where I can get some duals made.

I have had a great experience with my Pacesetters and TSP catted Y too. I did mine on a lift so access to everything was easy. The biggest thing I found is that you need to tweak the pipes in the right areas for clearance and you may need to do it more than once to get it perfect. I had a very slight banging on the drivers side cat during WOT so I played around a little with the pipes on that side a little and it is gone. I already had purchased the Y pipe bump stop anticipating some banging and I was surprised when I really didnt have much. I put it on more for reassurance than anything.

I think the Pacesetter/TSP catted Y combo fitment and clearance is excellent. But you have to be patient and readjust a little here and there to get it perfect with no banging.

I did file the ends of the pipes beforehand to remove any burrs or rough spots and everything slid right on by hand.

The bumpstop is good stuff. Im just raggin hard on this pipe because its so hard to adjust it, and since its so crimped from the u clamps Im pretty much stuck with it the way it is.
