I voted Pacesetters. They may not be the absolute best on the market, but they fit well, make good power, and are the most cost effective solution ($/HP). I'd put the money saved into other mods. Headers are fairly expensive ($ per HP wise). You'll see more gains with other mods on top of the headers.

You didn't list long-lasting as a criteria, so I'd say Pacesetters since they typically fit well and and all headers give similar performance gains. Long-lasting quality was high on my list, so I went with Kooks.

Maybe 15 for LTs? If max HP is your concern, you definitely want LTs.

QTP's with HVMC... if you don'tyour gonna regret it. WS6FirebirdTA00 posted his results over pacesetters (both 1 3/4 size) in the dyno section

i would trade my kooks for them if i could do it over

Other.

Dynatechs, the best kit out there, All stainless, comes with metallic cats and you can opt for Thunderracing cat delete pipes, and if needed swap back. Kooks, QTP, and Dyna are on the same level. Pacesetters are not even in the same league.

If your on a budget, then pacesetters win hands down. Otherwise, i would get the Kooks Lt's. i voted Kooks.

The key is Long Lasting...whilte Pacesetters ARE no doubt THE best bang for the buck, they are junk.

You need to go for stainless steal, do it once do it right. I highly recommend American Racing Headers.

+1 I love my Kooks and they fit like a glove but I paid for them. You can get pace setters cheap, real cheap.

Dynatechs is what I would buy or Kooks. I have FLP which by the pix Ive seen look like my FLP. But if spmething was to happen to my FLP I would go with Kooks. Ive put some Pacesetters on some cars and the just seem to be made cheap but they have lasted on my best friends 2001 SS and they are cheaper to buy. Good Luck

honestly, for a lowered car, i say don't go with LTs! i had 3 friends that nailed their driver side headers on speedbumps. can't remember off hand the brand LTs they have. I car ins't lowered so i went with LTs.
The best system to go for a lowered car and a daily driver is shorties. random tech. make a great fitting hi-flow cat and y pipe system and I personally like the loud mouth catback. my sister has an 02 WS6 and i put the same combo on her car w/ stock headers and she loves it! no rattles either.

of course if you don't care about banging up your headers from speed bumps or dips in the road... i have the supermaxx system and love it. i didn't have to remove a damn thing other than the old system, wires and dipstick. great fitting and paired with the SLP LM catback, sounds like my car has a cam during WOT! It may be a little more $$, but to me it was worth $1200.

I agree with Ultra. I scrape on everything right now being lowered, and I have stock exhaust w/ a cutout. Unless where you live has 100% flat roads, then I wouldnt suggest LT's! I'm probably taking off my pro-kit so that I can do LT's in the near future. Kooks FTW if you do decide to get them.

Dont buy shorties, its a waste of money. The only header you want to stay away from,if your worried about ground clearance, are the SLP's. I know from personal experience that Kooks tuck in real nice, I never had a problem with scraping them on my old car. The car I have now has SLP's and its a nightmare. I cant go anywhere with this thing. Ive even cracked the welds on the collector, aside from countless dents and scrapes. If you go with Kooks, AR headers, or QTP's you wont be sorry.

QTP HVMC was my vote. Clearance isn't bad. I also have to QTP ypipe with Magnaflow catback it has a nice sweet rumble to it at cruise speed, but at wot it really turns heads

SSWs longtube headers. They tuck in nicely like a stock set up. Gains? I dunno, I'm sure they dyno the same numbers like others.
