Pacesetter's chipping?
I had my coated pacesetter lt's put on about two months ago, and the coating is starting to chip and fake off by the collector. Seems a little early to be doing this! Has this happened to anybody else?

my Pacesetters on my SS have been on since the winter. I live near the ocean and haven't driven the car that much. Mine have a few chips and stuff but look OK for the most part. The Stainless steel Kooks LT on my Trans Am look like pure crap

Coated Pace Lt's are only coated from the outside, and the moisture that collects in the collector will start rust throught the inside. that is why I ordered my pace lt's from maryland speed<---a sponsor. They sell'em "jet hot" coated inside and out, and they carry a lifetime warranty! just my.02

If your gonna get Pacesetters, our Jet Hot coated Pacesetter's are the way to go. Pacesetter uses the cheapest possible coater on their stuff, where Jet Hot is top of the line, coated inside and out, and warrantied for life.
Check them out here-

Are Pacesetters not coated on the inside?
