Default Searched...what size Magnaflow?

I have duals and will be taking them over the axle into a muffler to quiet things down and running a cutout before it. It is a 3" system that will go down to 2.5" after the cutouts.

I need to know what Magnaflow to go with. There are a few options for 2.5" dual/dual:

5" x 8" Oval
4" x 9" Oval
5" x 11" Oval

Thanks.

at the bottom of the page there are some pics of the 4x9 muffler. If you look carefully, you can see the xpipe.

I vote for using the largest muffler so its nice and quiet. Since you got cutouts if you want loud.

I just don't know what fits. I noticed most people go with the 4x9 but why?

This is going in the stock muffler location. There will be Powerpacks after the X. This is why I am choosing from the 2 in 2 out mufflers.

So it will be:

Pacesetter Longtubes
3" X-Pipe
3" Powerpacks
Electric Cutouts
Down to 2.5", over the axle
Magnaflow muffler

cuz they putting them under the car before the axle. they need a short muffler for ground clearance.

Im running a 4.5"x9.75"x24" muffler in the stock location with plenty of room.

I'm getting the big one. 5x11. It should fit in the factory location right?

With room to get the pipes in (dual in dual out)?

If youre not sure of the fit make up a model with cardboard to be sure.
