MAC/ORY to LT?

MAC/ORY to LT? I currently have MAC mids and an ORY on my car. I'm thinking about swapping over to long tubes, not sure if the ORY will fit LT's though. I've searched and found that people show minimal gain, but I'd like get them to help support later mods....what do you guys think?

Yea I'm in the same boat....$400 for coated headers, plus I'm not sure if I need a different Y-pipe, or could modify the one I have now....all for a few hp?

from what I understand the Mac Ypipe will not work with the LTs. I reason i want to get LTs is because it will produce better low end torque. I don't really think there is much to gain on the top. I think my cam would work better with an LT. Oh, and most of the Ypipes for Lts are 3 inch and ours are a 2 1/2

You could probably hack up the MAC Y-pipe to make it fit since it is initially longer, but it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
I went from MACs to LTs, but have nothing bad to say about the MAC headers. For a bolt-on car, they are a great set-up...
