Default Which TB and Intake?

What is best intake and TB (size) for AFR 205's and 224/224 112 cam plus bolt ons? I know LS6 intake is best bang for buck, but will this restrict the above combination?

If cost is not an option, the FAST 90mm intake with a 90mm TB would make more power with your setup. If cost is an option, go with the LS6 intake with a ported/polished stock TB. Depends on what you want to spend...

I saw a discussion the other day that cited flow (in CFM) figures for the FAST and another intake, compared to stock & LS6. Net of it was that for most H/C packages, the LS6 was definitely the best bang for your buck. The LS6 may only flow 90-95% of what your heads flow, while the FAST flows 5-10% more than your heads - but at less than half the cost, it is clearly the better deal.

EDIT - When I say "your" heads, I mean any aftermarket heads, speaking very generally.

Does port/polishing the TB really do anything but enhance throttle response? I know on stock LS2's it does jack because the stock TB & manifold flow so well, but I'm still learning about LS1's.

For your setup the ls6 shouldn't restrict your air flow.

Where is the best place to go to get an LS6 intake? And a kit for your TB?

Yeh, settle down..

You can get an LS6 Intake (both of you, there are enough to go around.) here for around $325 shipped..

You can port/polish your own TB.. Bo White here does it for $75.. I was going to send him mine, but I thought - I'm about to do my own heads/cam install, I should be able to port my own TB..

I did it today but have not had a chance to get it back on the car..
