Help, 90mm TB wont open 100% at wot.
I just did some wot tuning using hp tuners and realized that my PTM 90mm TB is only opening 93%. I had a friend check to see if it really didnt open all the way when I push the pedal to the floor and sure enough, it isn't opening all the way. I dont have any slack in the throttle cable, so what could I do to open that throttle blade that last few mm's?

Start with the TB itself and make sure its blade can be moved
to dead center (by the ruler, not the electrical reading).
Then if it's possible but it isn't happening, check out the cable
from the pedal to the ASR pulley cluster. That run is nonadjustable
and I took about an inch out of mine with a cobbled up spacer.
Another guy I know just bent his pedal to get more draw when
matted, which way you go is up to you.

help
Thanks for the ideas everyone. The blade on the throttle body can open up further under wide open throttle, its not just the electrical reading. I also have the cable in the bottom hole on the throttle cam, so thats not it either. I think I'll have to try out one of the things that jimmyblue mentioned. If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to give your input.

According to InstallUniversity our factory TB is set to 90 degrees at WOT. Most cases our factory TB blade is way less then 90.
According to the website:
"if you open the throttle body more than 90° you will set the Service Engine Soon (SES) light."
This is on a factory unit, so I'm not sure if the same logic applies to this scenario.

Thanks
Thanks for all of your input guys. I ended up fixing it by elongating the holes in the throttle cable bracket just far enough to slide the bracket back so that once I mat the pedal the TB goes fully open.

Ours did the same thing! Our tuner took it apart and then put it back together to send back to TSP, when we decided to try it one more time and it worked fine. Not sure what happened but after putting it back together it was just fine.
