Default NW 90 Installed-Now high idle

anyone have a solution to this problem of high idle after FAST 90/NW 90 install? I turned the idle screw all the way out and the TB still wants to stick open. Idle ranges from 1000-2000. I can turn the tb cam to shut it completely but once I give it some gas, it won't return to that position. Car is a 98.

Sounds like a vaccum leak.

Do you have the throttle cable hooked up correctly?

I had the same crap happen to me!
I also had an untuned 85mm delphi MAFS and the tune is off, once you get it tuned its gonna change.

Default ??

I'm not sure about the vacum leak or the tune. The problem seems to be that the blade won't completely shut. I can shut it completely w/ my hand by turning the tb cam and it will idle fine. However, once I get in car and give it some gas and let off it won't go back to that completely shut position. Also, I should add that I deleted the EGR pipe and put on block off plate. However, I haven't deleted it out of the computer (no tune software).

More info. Getting trouble codes P0405 (egr) and P0103 (MAF input is higher than expected for current engine operating conditions).

I think you need a tune.

you can remove the TB shaft and rotate the spring one more full turn. This should produce enough pressure to shut the blade.

Trust me, you do not want to do that. It will ruin the spring.

Default ddd

It looks like the issue worked itself out. Car now consistently idles @ or near 1000.
