Default what are the headers to get?

i remember before i even got this car,
everyone wanted "grotts"
which are now QTP?
are they still the chit?

and whats up with this new "high velocity collector" business?
is it worth the cash?

im probably the poorest person on this board,
but i will save for quality pieces if its worth it.

please advise

You have the right idea. There are certain places not to skimp in my book. Headers are one of them. Why not save up and buy the good stuff than have to replace them later? With that in mind, yes, the QTP's are still kicking *** from what I can see. You may wait for them, but I waited almost three months for my Grots. Don't waste your money on anything but LT's. As for the "high velocity collector"...don't know anything about it either way.

I think the best LT's around are the FLP's, I love my FLP's...they are pretty expensive, but well worth it, the clamps for the ORP's and cats can be a pain in the ***, but its ok, you can even get cutouts in place of the cats....

I've heard some good things about the QTP's though...

Kooks get my vote OR QTPs, if you want to wait.

If price is not your deciding factor, the general consensus is that Kooks and QTPs and the best available. PPC's also look good but they are not available in SS and no one seems to have them so info. on them is minimal.
