GUYS WIT HOOKERS OR JET HOT LT'S
B4 I INSTALL MY JETHOT LT'S HEADERS WAS WONDERING IF U GUYS HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WIT THE STARTER? DO I HAVE TO PUT THE SHIELD ON THE STARTER? THANKS IN ADVANCED.

I haven't met anyone with starter problems with any of the LS1 longtube headers. You just need to be careful when running wires by them.

I just finished my Jet-Hot install today and the starter was not an issue in any way. Removed the steering shaft, oil diverter plate, the undercar heat shields, and they made it in no grinding the block. Had to get the car HIGH for the dang passenger side though.

THANKS GUYS, I WAS TALKING ABOUT PUTTING A HEAT SHIELD OVER THE STARTER SO THE HEADERS WONT HEAT IT UP. I GUESS NO ONE HAS PROBLEMS WIT THEM!

I'm actually going to do this. I've had the JetHot LT's for a while now and I'm just worried that the headers are too close to the starter. It's more for piece of mind than anything.
