Default McCord Powerplate

Anyone have one? How do you like it? Can anyone compare it to the QTEC?

Can't compare, but I've had mine for 2 years without issues.

Me too, although I live on the other side of the world.

On the other hand, I placed an order online for the MPP2 in January. After 2 months & tons of emails, I got no responses & no cutouts! That's why I went with QTEC although it is more expensive. Barry is the man

I have been reading several posts about Qtecs leaking, and the motors not working properly. I can't see paying that good money if they don't work.

Hehe.. well, that's why we all have QTEC's. The Mccords were doing the same thing. Mccords had alot of trouble with breaking gears (use to be plastic) or burning up motors.

The leaking your reading about is something both have been known for. Usually a dab of high temp silicone around the butterfly opening cures it.

Bottom line, you will see more posts about QTEC's here, because they are a sponsor and more people have them.

That's the primary reason I got a QTEC, becuase QTP is a sponsor of this board and has provided outstanding customer service to anyone that has had any trouble.
