Default Exhaust??????

Ok guys It's decision time, the car has been sitting in the garage for a month with open headers and no exhaust whatsoever. I'm having a hard time deciding between the Mufflex 3 1/2 inch with spintech muffler, the Hooker catback, or the Borla. I'm looking for a really deep sound with as little rasp and drone as possible I'm still open to other suggestions and if you have some sound clips could you e-mail them to me, oh yeah i almost forgot, I eventually plan on going supercharged and need to get as much flow as I can from the catback, thanks guys!

I don't think the Spintech will suit your desired sound qualities. I think the Hooker would be a better choice (this is coming from a Spintech guy who loves his car's exhaust sound!)

I did a lot of research and listened to a lot of clips. My conclusion was for best sound (most like a muscle car - least rasp):

1. Random Tech
2. Dynomax
3. Hooker
3a. GMMG
4. Magnaflow
5. Borla
5b. Corsa

I decided on the GMMG in the end because all the others sit off to one side and I hate the look of the off balance muffler from the rear. Not so important on the pontiacs, but looks bad on the camaros. The GMMG on the other hand looks great from the rear.

just my .02

There are clips spread out all over. If you find a site with them all in one place please post it.
Spintech has some sound clips available on their site.

I have the videos downloaded from the spintech site, but the closes thing to our cars that they have is a corvette, I was hoping to see something with a y-pipe setup (t/a, or camaro) but no luck, i'll see if i can find a site on google or something, our best bet would be to have a ton of people searching or someone that has some free time could setup a site for us ls1 tech junkies.

GMMG is by far the best sounding, but the most expensive
