Default Headers installed, rear O2

I just picked my car up from having my headers and catted Y installed. The rear O2 sensors are not connected but my SES light is not on. The O2's were not deleted by the shop and no O2 sims were installed.

Is this normal or does it take a few cycles for it to finally come on?

Now I can't wait for it to stop raining so I can test it out on a nice spirited ride.

It takes a few cycles. Same for EGR and AIR. EGR would pop up right away, AIR would take a few days to throw the code.

Yeah, soon enough. So if you're like me and you're bothered by the SES light, take care of it.

I went with the Pacesetters with the emission fittings just to keep that intact for now.

I'll wait for the SES to turn on.

Then I'll have to decide for emission purposes do I go with sims or tune to delete the o2's.

It takes a few cycles to come on. As far as a cost, normal shope get itn the $500 range to install headers. Check in the local forums, someone may be willing to help you do it yourself. It is not a hard job.

Installed headers for the first time last week on my 02. As long as you get the car up high enough they slip right in. It took me 2 days to install and get everything hooked up.......what can i say it was my first time.
