like LS1 crazy said - reuse your stock bolts!! I just did headers a few weeks ago and reused the stock ones. Also yes you can reuse the stock gasket too - but if your car is over 50k they will be fairly worn out, then I would probably get new GM ones. They are only $20.

I did mine and re-used the stock bolts and got new gaskets. I also deleted the EGR when I upgraded to a LS6 intake. I believe my kit came with block off plates for the EGR and the AIR. No bots for them as you would also use the stock ones to secure the block offs

I'm finishing up with my Hooker header install now...some tips...
- Get new gaskets...I went with Fel-Pro...only cost $10-15 and are much better quality than the ones in the kit. You could reuse the stock ones, but I recommend just buying new ones, especially if you have a car with higher mileage.
- DO NOT use the bolts that came with the headers. In my kit, I only had 11/12 bolts. The ones in the kit are WAY too short. You could reuse your stock ones...I went with the Stage 8 Locking Header bolts, which are very nice. Those were about $50.
- As for the block off plates, just reuse your stock bolts.

that is what i thought, but i wanted to make sure.
Is the install pretty straight forward? I couldn't find a install guide on it. do you have to remove the starter or oil dipstick or anything? This is for a '00 Trans Am w/ the LS1 intake, EGR and ****.
Sorry if i seem a lil annoyed, but my friend has a habit of doing this ****.

You shouldn't have to remove anything else although I've never installed Hookers. Good luck!
