Default Y-pipe question

im about to get some hooker LT's and i have a borla catback that i havent installed. my question is what will sound better with the borla a catted or ORY y-pipe.

NP I have QTPs with TSP ORY thru a borla catback wide open and love it!

Now you have to keep in mind that one man's "sounds great" can be another man's "This sounds horrible!".

One thing for sure is it will be VERY loud.And will be very raspy.Many grow tired very quickly.

To some people,loud = sounds good and to others,there is actual tone quality differences..

Personally I have heard LTs,Borla (wide open) with AND without cats....I would pick the catted set up because it eliminates the harsh rasp but remains very loud.

Or I would get a bullet muffler welded into the off road Y pipe just too calm it down a bit.

Sounds like you already pretty much have the parts so,I would say get the off road Y and see how you like it...That way there are options to quiet it down if needed.

Just my thoughts on it....good luck!
