I have SLP long tubes and Ypipe, The Y pipe Hangs WAY TO LOW! If i get a different Y Pipe will this help the problem or do i have to get new headers all together?

I have never been impressed with anything SLP.They just dont seem to be very good at making a quality product. To many people complain about there headers and y-pipe,lid fitment, all kinds of crap.I would sell them and get a different brand,or you will probably never be happy with the headers/y-pipe.Just my suggestion

If I remember right, you can only use the SLP Y with the SLP headers. My suggestion would be to try and sell what you have and go with some ARH/Kook's (IF money is no object). I was never happy with my SLP headers/y pipe fitment. Good luck with it.

Are these the tuned length or the new long tubes? If they are the original tuned length, clearance is a problem and a Y pipe will not help.

I have slp headers catted y pipe and slp lid and everything fits very nicely! The headers are tucked up and i have not one issue with ground clearance. I don't know y everyone nocks on slp. Maybe people don't know how to install there parts?? Idk but everything that i owe from them is amazing

They are the LT headers. The headers are fine, just the Ypipe get caught on everything!

SLP headers have a longer y-pipe and can't be changed. The origanal SLP headers & y-pipe do hang down low but SLP has just come out w/a better set up.
