...Which is a good thing. I'd go with the longest rod you can sqeeze in there that won't cause a ring problem. 6.2s can be used even with 4" strokes so they would certainly be no problem to use with a stock stroke. You just gotta get the right piston to go with them.
Longer rod = lower piston velocity, less side loading of the piston, more time spent at TDC. These are all very good things.

I know its a good thing Colonel All I was saying is that they are really easy to find, and maybe even used for cheap. I got my Eagles for a lot cheaper than you can buy them new. Some higher strength rod bolts and im in business.

I don't really know for a street engine. I have 6.2s in my 4" stroke 434 but it's far from being a street engine. My guess is that it would be fine but I'd want to do some checking first.
