You should be fine with 2cc valve reliefs and stock gasket... but wouldn't hurt to check. Would be very easy since you'll have the heads off anyway.

do think with 2cc valve reliefs i'll be fine ? and the clearance will be enough between valves to pistons ?

i am will actually be running the same combo and will be installing as soon as i get my rocker arms. was wondering if you know what pushrod length needs to be? Did you measure the the pv clearence and rotate the camshaft or did someone tell you it would not work. I'm in the same boat was just wondering because i knew i would have to measure with such a big cam and don't wan to buy pistons because i have a 6.0l 408 project that will recieve the majority of my funds. Just wanted a fast h/c stock bottomend car for now.

Call TSP, I'm sure they're familiar with a setup like that.

a -2cc relief, stock gasket and a 59cc head will have you well over 12:1 compression.
i measured up a set of -2cc diamonds with a 64cc head and it was going to be 11.9 commpression on a 4.030 bore with a 4.100 gasket.

i talked to several people, including speed inc and they thought c/r would be closer to 11.2:1 to 11.5:1 at most with a stock gasket. when i bolt them up i will def. measure c/r and most likely will run a .060'' gasket now. stock is .041'' correct?

Yes the -2cc piston will be fine with this application. We stock several different brands to choose from. Make sure you flow check the heads prior to install, it's always best to make sure your getting exactly what you pay for.

Contact us if you need any help picking out pistons, we stock tons of them!
