Well I just installed 243's in my 99 T/A. From what my tuner has showed me in his shop, 243's produced 23rwhp more than 241's. If u have the right head porter, 243's can make any after market head seem a waist of money.

Oh yeah I forgot the differance. The 241's came on your 2000 to 2002 Fbody's and 04 GTO's I believe but not sure bout the GTO's. 243's came stock on 01 to 04 ZO6's. Both LS6's but 2 differant platforms. Also the 243's came on early 6.0L GTO's.

I know my C6 had 243's also. Ohh but it was a Z51, not sure if that matters. For the little and I do mean little extra money of the 243's, I would go with them. If I had invested another $800 into the port and valve job, my heads would make AFR's cry. Not being cocky or anything, I just know this guys work is leading the head and cam industry.

I went with the MS3. Also with the 243's you can run the MS4. I was originally going to get an MS4, but I have a stock bottom end and 114K miles so I wanted to play it alittle on the safe side. A4, the tsunami or Torquer 2 would be killer with 243's in an auto.
