tick tick tick stock
Well I have my trans am with 54k miles on it and I noticed today that it is going tick tick tick. The car is completely stock...any ideas? May this be the reason its bucking at 2000 rpm (info here https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-2500-rpm.html )
Thanks
Thanks

Update: when I look at the car from the top I can't hear it, but when I am from the side I hear it or when I go to the bottom I hear. I do not hear it at all once it gets to 1500 or so rpm.

Since some research I can now tell that this is not valvetrain, maybe its the egr or an exhaust manifold leaking, but wouldn't you be able to hear this from the top instead of just the sides? And I can not hear it from inside...Just from the sides.
Edit: I bet its exhaust. I've been researching and this fits the bill perfectly.
