I did it! I bought a cam....
Well i took the plunge. Thought about an ls6 cam for a while but wanted something bigger. I got a Lunati 221/221 .558 .558 lift. Many of you may know it as the MTI B1 grind. I wanted something for an A4 that is my main transportation. I think it will go well with my 3500 stall. Im so Happy

I thought about thr TR224. I thought about my car down the line in the future. And i dont plan on going over 380wrhp. With full bolt ons i have heard of many B1 cammed cars around 380hp. Plus it will be sometime before i can get LT's. I really dont beat on it too much and have never been to the track. I just want it there when a Blue Oval throws me some revs and i have to remind him the Camaro still rules even if its from the grave.

Back when I was doing research on what cam to buy, I came up with the B1 also. But I didn't have the money right then, so I kept on researching and changed my mind to the TR224 114. The B1 is a good cam, but note that it isn't listed on the MTI site anymore. The smallest they list is the C1. B1 is just an older design; as time goes on, bigger and bigger cams seem to be finding their way into the LS1.
