Default Thoughts on Callies Compstar crank.

Anyone have any experiance with these cranks? Wanting to do a 408 with a 200 shot. Looked on their website and there isn't alot of info on it, ie power level. Going to call tomorrow just wanted to see what knowledge you guys got to share.

definately get one if you have the money. I am having buyers remorse about this eagle I have. By the time I paid for the machine work to get my Eagle usable, I could just about have had a Callies.

You can't go wrong with Callies. I had my 408 built by Joseph at TSP with the Callies crankshaft and even though I have a factory 10 bolt and transmission along with Ebay headers, thats right I said Ebay headers, I was still able to put down 446RWHP and 431LB/TQ. Give Texas Speed a call they have awesome customer service and will help you with whatever your budget is.

We have used many of the Compstar Cranks in quite a few builds here and have had no problems with them at all. Callies over all makes some of the best products for the money in the LS market.

I assume their compstar rods are good to go as well? NemeSS, you would happen to have any 408 shortblocks would you? If so what do they go for with the callies crank?
