A good set of headers (Kooks, and Pacesetters are common) and exhaust, an LS6 intake or if you have extra money a Fast 90/90 would be a good combo on a stock bottom end. Also might as well add a airlid (I have an SLP), although mostly a cosmetic enhancement, they do add a couple of hp. Add a cam that will give you good street manners and your easily at 400 hp. Don't forget to upgrade your springs and retainers at the same time...the factory springs just don't cut it when you are dealing with higher lift cams. Don't forget to get a good set of plugs and a tune (programmers are popular, but nothing comes close to a reputable shop that can dyno tune your car).
Once you get to 400 + hp, you will definitely need more than a stock clutch. Once again, ask around, there are lots of various types and opinions out there with different ranges in power and streetability. After that, add a set of Lower Control Arms as a minimum to your suspension as the stamped steels ones will flex and give you unwanted wheel hop.
Good luck and enjoy your car!

Since your an A4 and getting a cam your going to need a stall converter. Some A4 guys can let you know more about the stall though, so the car won't push through the brakes. But the cam you go with will depend on the stall converter you need to get.
