Default Who ports heads? Manifold?

Ok i'm looking to get some more out of my car. I do'nt need more then 430-450HP. I have LT's, LS6 manifold, 236 cam. Is it worth it for me to get my LS6 intake ported for the money and who does it? Also besides TEA who ports 243 heads? i have a set of 243 heads so I figured it was more cost effective to just have them ported rather then buy new ones. what do you guys think?

Moving to internal.

If you want 430-450 you might think about saving that $450ish that it would cost to have the manifold ported and just get a used 90/92mm setup from the for sale section. Depending on budget of course.

a set of 243's with the proper work can be a nice piece. if your serious about getting some work done to a 243 shoot me a pm or call one of the board sponsers up. i know a local to us guy that does top notch work. if your in a rush he probably isn't an option because he is always booked.

We offer the PRC CNC Porting for your castings, or we can supply you new heads. The PRC Stage 1 for ls6 heads would cost just over 1000 a pair brand new or right at $700 to fully machine & reassemble your castings. Checkout www.texas-speed.com or look in the dyno section. That's the best way to see the proven performers.

430-450 is all you need,,,,,,,,Yeah rite....

Check into a fella named Jeremy Formatto I believe is His name, I have seen him on this site, He is known for porting manifolds, I read an article In High Performance Pontiac where they had him port a GTO manifold and it picked up some good numbers.
As far as Heads Go, I have a set of PRC heads from Texas Speed. They work terrific, and you are not going to beat their prices, If you are on a budget.

You can make that kind of power no problem. Let us know if you'd like to discuss the PRC head options!
