what is the length of stock ls1 push rods? Looking to replace them with head swap

Closest you can get is 7.400.

I came up with 7.385" for the stock length when I measured them a few years back. I think the diameter might be slightly below 5/16" as well.

vettenuts is correct on the length. Never measured the diameter just always asssumed 5/16's....

Yes and the 7.375 actually measures about 7.390 end to end that's why we use those a lot.

When upgrading will the 7.400 cause any problems? Any recommendations?

Before you dis-assemble the motor you may want to take a measurement. As I recall the stock setup was close to 0.100" preload so the slightly longer 7.400" may put you over 0.100" preload (although a couple of vendors have told me they have seen better power set deeper). If that is the case you may want to consider the 7.375" pushrods instead.
