Default advice needed cam?

ok so what im looking to do is build a decently high compression 346 around 11:5:1 maybe 11:7:1, going to be using the tfs 220 as cast heads, touched up, a fast 92 combo all assorted bolt ons including ewp and UD..basically what im looking for is advice on my cam selection, im looking for something with down low to mid range power that would carry well up top, the specs i've been playing around with are

229/234(6) 620/630 lift with a 111+2, any input would be welcomed, further info is i have an 02 1SC, usage will be mostly street driven with occasional 1/4 mile runs and will see nitrous up to 200 shot

About the most you can cut those heads is down around 60cc or so and clear if you are on stock pistons. That will give 11.3ish. I run those heads with a 230/234 111+2 cam and 60.5cc was what was recommended to me......

Then you can mill more. I would go forged on a 200 shot. I sound like a broken record but call Geoff at EPS or have somebody spec one for you....

I don't recognize the lobes you have specced what are they??

its not any particular lobe design although its close to the ed curtis hellfire cam, but i thought about having EPS grind it because of how well i've read their lobes carry, and the other idea for the super huge cam is not in what I want to do

236/248 110+3 from EPS.

Trust me! There is no need to go bigger on the intake. You can only give the engine what it wants.

paint it black, is there any reason you suggested that cam, for a street car looking for low to mid range, i would think with that duration it would be a top end car even with the 110lsa

Ah, I misread.. that suggestion is a max effort cam. If you want to scale it down .... 100% street car? I don't see any reason to go bigger than 226/234 111+2. I like that cam.

Talk to Geoff at EPS anyway. I use his lobes and he knows his stuff.
