Default TSP 231/237 & Patriot 5.3 dyno numbers

I swapped heads and cam on my car last week and finally got it to the dyno yesterday. I am pretty happy with the results. We got 433rwhp and 390rwtq thru full exaust. Thanks to Jeff Creech for the kick *** tuning and to Texas Speed and Patriot for the good numbers.

great numbers i believe patriot has proven that their heads can produce the numbers. And I'm sure as soon as spring gets here and tracks start opening they will start producing the track numbers

That's really good! My car picked up 15rwhp 17rwtq by adding a cutout on my combo. You might want to try one on yours, you could possibly break 440+ rwhp then.

Those are nice results, that's probably what I would make if I went to the 231/237 cam too. Here in NY emissions puts the damper on things.

I think that patriot has proven their heads to do very well for the price. The car is a M6 with basic bolt ons and it was run thru a hooker catback. I hope to get 445 or so with dual cutouts. The car runs really strong now and I hope to make some good track numbers with it before long.

was the 388 with the heads to or cam only? why is your car down on torque? all the g5x2 and 3 cams are making close to or 420 rwt with heads and bolt ons

The red pull was cam only. It aint makin a **** load of tq but its still doin good I think goin thru the exaust. Yeah the g5 cams are makin a lot more tq it looks like and more hp but I aint wanna cut the piston or deal with none of that. I knew that when i bought this cam. I aint takin nothing away from them so dont take none away from the 231/237 cam. They are both very nice cams all anyone needs to decide is which one is better for them.

dipshit those are different cams. how you figure it was down on torque when you comparing two totally different cams. look at other cars with that cam torque seems the normal.
kthxbye
