Default New Thunder TRx v.2 Cam Specs inside!!

Straight off the website!!

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa 3500-6700 RPM Power Band. Violent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning, 4000+ converter on autos, 4.10's or greater on manual trans cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Due to the extreme nature of this camshaft, piston to valve clearance must be verified when using modified cylinder heads.

Well that makes most of the big cams in cars now look small, and mine not even worth the effort I guess I need to upgrade!

I AGREE THAT IS BAD *** NO DOUBT!!!!! Great Job THUNDER, that cam is more radical than my 244/244, .612 lift, 112lsa, MTI S1 cam that powers my MTI C5R based 427 motor. A year ago i thought that cam was big but man have things changed in one year!!!

I like that cam but on a bolt on car where someone hasn't been willing to spend the money on a custom bottom end, PV clearance could cost them more than all the bolt ons installed. Seems very risky by the specs. But if it clears with unmilled heads, I want to try one!
