well the car will be a street/strip car, but mainly my driver. so the lower the cam kicks in the better. i still want the motor to be a perfromer in the upper rpm range, but have good low end torque. i will most likely have the 4L60E tranny, and i am not certain what is in the rear of my 68bird right now, but i will probably have anything from 3.42 to 3.73 gears.

A ls6 cam would be a ok choice, but if your going for 375 rwhp on stock heads, i would posibally go for something bigger, especially being the motor isn't in the car yeat(i assume). Send the computer off and get it tuned, and I think you would like that much more.
I mean, whats better than a late model performance engine, that lopes and sounds like a hot rod, and runs with the big boys?

i just went to the thunder racing website after someone telling me to check out the 224/224 112 cam, and i think that is just what i need. it will work with my stock heads, but i need to change out the springs, and that is all that i am looking for right now. so with that cam and springs, ls6 intake, set of lt's with true duals (it's on a 68 firebird, much easier to get em lol) what kind of power do you think i will make? and should i add anything else on there at this stage? thanks for repling
