your best bet is to call tsp and talk with them, i went threw tsp and they are straight great to deal with , eps is also another great bunch of guys , so you only drive the car once every 2 months ? have plans to do heads or are you just gonna stay with cam only and spray . sorry we can tell you alot of cams to go with but your best bet is to call and talk with a sponser. i never understand these threads,a phone call is gonna get you way more info then just asking for a cam that sounds good.

If you want your car to "sound like its cammed", just about any aftermarket cam is going to have a mean lope to it. If you really want that choppy idle, have your tuner set the idle speed a little lower.
While this is a good idea, I went through the same process when I was looking for my cam/heads setup and I had the best luck by just riding in/driving locally cammed cars. It's the best way to decide what's "drive-able" to you.

The LS6 intake was oem in '02.
Just FYI, you put a big cam in the Vette & it can cause A/C issues at idle. I don't know whether it's a vacuum issue or what, but with a G5x3 I have to idle my Z06 at 975 rpm or the climate control doesn't want to turn the compressor on.
Sounds like you're dead set on a cam to get the sound. There's probably more performance to be had between lights with a rear gear switch.

im not going to dog on tsp or esp or anything but i have an A4 and will be purchasing the F14 cam from FMS. there are 2 F14 custom grind cams one is a 112 lsa and the other is 114 lsa i personally called FMS and talked to them he and every one on ls1 tech basicaly agrees that since your running the A4 to go with the 114 LSA. the f14 is a 232/234 (high lifter is an option as well which iswhat i will be purchasing.) bigger is not always better for example the trex cams will give outstanding high end power but its low end power will be as slow as a school bus especially with a A4, you will rather lug as your trying to get up that many rpms and trying to shift at 7000 rpms on average is not a risk i would take untill the bottom end is rebuilt unless uve already done that. the power band on the f14 (high lift 114 lsa) is i wanna say 2600-7000 which means that with a 2800 stall that i have and a nice tune even though the max hp/trq wont be as high you will still get amazing times on and off the track. as compared to the TR trex or other big sized cams with power bands like 4000-7200 and they have a low overlap the smaller 23x cams have larger overlaps the fms 232 has a .9!(like 90 percent sure sorry if its like .7 but still..) overlap and when choosing A CAM Look more at the power under the curve which is where most of your performance is goin to come from. the f14 has a very steady strong curve almost straight! the t rex is like a mountain.. also make sure you have appropriate bolt ons and valve train parts of course check into new timing chains as well. i will be running stock gears untill i get the 3.73's put in the winter u should do the same not 4.10 or bigger though unless u want a manual set up.(been thinkin bout the 3.90's as well a comment on that would be nice anyone. but if you want to go for that big high rpm monster cause ur runnin with no2 then check out FMS's godzilla cam it will be up ur alley. once again i love tsp and will use them later down the road. now as for cams not as much. good luck and dont jump into this!
