quick cam question
im getting a really good deal on a lunati 55004 its a 221/221 558/558 114 lsa im getting it for 150 brand new from a buddy of mine. what can i expect from it. im stock heads full bolt on 150 shot.
is it even worth it? iv done search but cant really find anything on it. what would it sound like. i know it's not going to be my type of big choppy idle cam, but if itll give me decent power ill jump on it just for now.
thanks in advanced

You will feel and hear the difference...don't forget you will need a tune. If your doing the work I say go for it....but just to warn you with my first cam swap I did a 220/224 and a week later wished I had gone bigger lol

my tuner told me we'd be able to squeeze 35 hp out of it. this set up is just to have something to do for the time being. i love choppy cams but this one for 150 i didn't think i could let it pass up.
just wanted to know more or less what i can expect from it.
I'm doing the work myself and i have the springs laying there all ill need would be push rods

You need to measure. That cam looks familiar and looks like the MTI T1 or T2 cam (IIRC)
It has -7* overlap (negative) so very little lope, will produce good midrange trq, power range with LS6 intake 2000rpm To 6200rpm

should be good to spray my 150 on it with no problem ?
would i really need the push rods for this small cam?
thinking bout tearing in to it soon just want to know a lil more before i do
would i be able to say the car is completely stock?
at the track people have always thought that the car had more than what it really has

While it is not optimized for your intake, it will work. Yes you can spray up to 150 if properly tuned. Yes you absolutely need hardened push rods.
