Default best H/C/I setup

Yes im a noob first time owner.

So what is the best h/c/i setup?

car is a4 4k stall. 3.73 gears.

Looking for best all motor setup, still can be a dd. Looking to spray in the future also.

im new to the site, and yes I have searched.

Would like to get mid low 11's if possible on motor. low tens on spray.

thanks

I would say the best setup depends on your budget.

I see you posted this in a different section. Do you want the best performing HCI setup, or one that has good street manners?

"Best" is hard to call. Lots of guys (like me) think theirs is the best because it suits their wants and needs. So youve got to figure out your budget, tolerance for surge, etc. I think scrolling through the dyno forum is a great place to start. If budget is not a concern, you could do a build like mine. If I had the extra dosh id go with double tapered pushrods like vettenuts.

Make sure you understand mustang vs. Dynojet and SAE correction...if you compare everything as SAE dynojet numbers you should be able to compare apples to apples. . .unless someone tricks the weather sensors.

My build:

of course I want good street manners, but also want the cam to sound evil too.

I was looking at the afr heads, dont know which ones?

fast 92 intake and tb, or is the 102 better, seems kinda big.

If i dont go the h/c/i route, then I migh just do the cam and a single tubo, I dont know whcih one will give more power, or which one costs more. Who makes a kit for these cars?

thanks for the replies.

Well a turbo is going to be capable of WAY more power, but will cost more as well

I have TSP PRC 2.5 5.3 heads with the TSP 228R cam, LS6 intake / ported stock tb. It's a great combo and theres no doubt in my mind that it will run 11s. The torquer v2 is also a killer setup with ported 5.3s or ls6 heads.
