Default Cam suggestions for 799 heads

I bought a set of 799 heads. Heads have stock valves but has a brand new Brian Tooley .660 dual spring kit. My engine is a stock LS1. I have the LS6 intake as well, but it is not on yet. My questions are:
1. Do I need to upgrade the valves?
2. What cam specs are good for a street car with occasional strip use?
My goals are 450 rwhp and 410-420 rwtq. I have Pacesetter LT headers and the SLP CAI with K&N, but that's it.

Bless me with knowledge, or advice, please. Thanks!

I would use the stock valves.

Our Stg IV cam has made 440 rwtq/460 rwhp with stock LS6 heads and intake. http://www.briantooleyracing.com/nat...-camshaft.html

Should I consider new rockers and push rods? Or can I use LS1 rockers and push rods?

The stock rockers should be fine, inspect the scroll for wear or scratches, it should be smooth.

The pushrods need to be upgraded to some chromoly units, the 5/16" .080" wall will be fine. http://www.briantooleyracing.com/ls-...-400-long.html

So I ordered the push rods and some gasket stuff.

I will be ordering the Stage IV cam soon. Should I upgrade the timing chain and oil pump?

That's probally a good idea regardless of the miles on your car, but much more necessary on a higher mileage car. An ls2 chain and ls6 oil pump should get the job done

Yep ls2 chain and ls6 pump is tried and true, not need for ported oil pump and double chain...and def upgrade those pushrods or you will be asking for trouble in the long run...also consider upgrading rockers with trunnion upgrade with a cam like that...do it once, do it right!

Do I just need the chain or the entire kit? Texas Speed has just a chain, but they also have a kit.
