NT. as in i need to replace rearend to 12bolt, gears to 4.10 ect to fully enjoy a g5x2/g5x3 and have my car running good without problems every 10,000 miles as such.

The X3 is a good bit smaller than the T-rex. (lower 230's as compared to the 242 of the t-rex. With that and the 4 degrees advance on the X-3, you should be able to get away with 3.73's. The X-2 on a 112 would be even better for daily commuting due to the power coming on a little sooner.

yea i really want a cam that gives good power all around with a pretty much stock car(except for usual bolt ons). So my best bet would be the g5x2? Does it have a mean sounding idle? How much RWHP can i expect with my mods(listed below)and that cam?

X3 is a bit bigger than you think. But 3.73s should be alright with it.

I will agree the T-Rex definitely needs a larger gear than the 3.42 to make up for the low end. I am personally going to go with 4.56's as I have seen Jason's T/A with his 12 bolt making good times with it. But I would assume 4.10 would be just fine. You can drive it with no problems on the 3.42 but you will notice you have to rev it abit more when starting off and this would get you out of the hole if you where running someone.

I don't know about how the G5X3 runs with the stock gearing but I have heard it is more friendly.

To quote Lou @ LGM re: X3, "It's like an X2 on sterroids."

The X3 was described to me as being slightly bigger, but with the valve events moved around (compared to the X2). All I can tell you for sure is that the X3 makes a little more power, and has better low RPM manners (read: smoother idle, easier starting, etc...). I have an X2 in my car, and have seen plenty of them... I have also seen plenty (well over a dozen) X3 cars, and they all behave better at low RPM than the X2. Not that the X2 is all that unruly... just that the X3 is that much more docile.

I know the specs on the T-Rex, but I haven't yet seen a car with it installed, so I can't comment on drivability, etc...

please dont put these mega large cams in a mostly stock car. you will be terribly disappointed. these cams are for full out great breathing combos with tons of gearing or convertor. just my .02

I know what the specs on the X-3 are. It's not really a secret anymore, but I was one of the first to know them long ago. It's only 2 degrees bigger than the X-2 on both sides, so that still keeps it in the lower 230's. I really don't see where there would be any diffrence in driveability between the X-2 and X-3. If both cams were cut on the same LSA, neither would idle to much diffrent from the other. Like I said, the X2 is just 2 degrees bigger, it's not going to make a car idle better unless it is cut on a 114 as compared to a 112. For what it sounds like your wanting, a G5X-2 on a 112 with 4 degrees advance is what you are looking for. The X3 on a 114 will require you to rev a bit higher due to the LSA and bigger duration. The X3 112 would be good, but you would be required to flycut in that scenario.
