Hey Walter,
get the Patriot duals, Texas Speed carries them. I broke two Crane duals with that cam and they only had about 10k miles on them.

price not being an issue, what are better the COMP921's or Golds?

The way I look at it, spend a little more now and save alot of frustration later

The comp spring cost more, but is it better. Both springs are made of quality material. The Patriot "GOLD" spring is made of super pure chrome silicone vanadium. The spring is also electro polished,to improve spring life and remove stress risers. The comp spring is probally made of chrome silicone but is not polished.I worked with the spring companies engineer to develope the "GOLD" spring.Neither company manufacturers the spring,we have a spring manufacturer build them.

The Crane Duals from Thunder Racing will work great. Can't beat the price either.

I'm running the crane dual 832's with the Trex and no problems so far. Is there some sort of breaking issue with these, or is this a one time occurance.

We run the Patriot doubles mainly because of the better pressures.. The crane's have also worked well for us if we shim them up to get more pressure from them

^ what he said! I had some valve float on the dyno with my Crane duals/FM13 combo @6300rpm's, due to lack of seat pressure. Also I think I am the only one(that I have seen or heard of anyways) that has broken one(actually two ).
