Looking for HD connecting rods for TT project
I have been gathering my parts for my Darton 427 TT motor that is going in my Chevy 2 Pro Touring car. Time to buy the connecting rods! Just looking for some opinions as to which options are the best to take. I am very pro Carrillo, as I have used quite a few of there rods in many LS projects. Someone had recommended the Eagle H-beams but I am a bit concerned for a $400 set of rods dealing with 1000-1200 FWHP.
Kurt (W2W), what are you using in that big HP 402??

That car uses eagle forged off the shelf rods. 1200+++ RWHP. One of the fastest blow-thru carb cars in the world, he's duking it out with Filipowski for the fastest in the world. Personally I think eagles are strong enough, but if you want more power the olivers or carillo rods are nice pieces.
