Talking Finished my cam instal!! got another question

well, i finished it this morning!! everything went great. oil pressure is good. took it for a test drive and am impressed with the drivability for it being so big, and untuned. only died once at startup. and the F13 sounds freakin awesome! i love it. one last question. is it supposed to feel so damn good knowing you did it yourself? i cant wipe the smile off of my face! thanks a lot to everyone that provided help and encouragment. thanks a lot jonathon for the cam. my torque converter came in today, so im having it put on along with my headers this week. cant wait!! thanks again everyone!!

Congrats Walter, I hope you enjoy the cam as much as I did. I know how good it feels when you do a cam install the first time. I was a little skeptical about doing it myself also, but after the first time you kinda get rid of the butterflies if you know what I mean. Keep us posted when you get your stall and headers put in. Oh yeah, you did do a couple of heat cycles on the springs right?

Awesome man! My parts from TR are due this Friday, so I might start my install this Saturday. You must feel great having that install under your belt.

Glad that everything went well. I will be doing one here in the near future so I hope mine goes as good as yours did.
