Default F10 or F12 cam for stree/strip car?

I have a 99t/a ram air and I am looking at a few different cams and would like some advice. My car has all the basic mods, with headers, ory, and ls6 intake on the way. I will have the car tuned after everything is on the car and I want to be able to drive this car everyday if I have to without it being a complete pain in the butt, but I still would like to have big hp and tq numbers and be able to here it lope after being tuned. I have been looking at the following:

FM-F10-112 Futral Motorsports Custom Grind Camshaft - 228"/228" .581"/.581" 112LSA aggressive profile with a 2200-6600 RPM range, fair idle $ 399.99

FM-F10-114 Futral Motorsports Custom Grind Camshaft - 228"/228" .581"/.581" 114LSA aggressive profile with a 2200-6600 RPM range, fair idle $ 399.99

FM-F12-112 Futral Motorsports Custom Grind Camshaft - 230"/230" .591"/.591" 112LSA aggressive profile with a 2500-6800 RPM range, rough idle $ 399.99

FM-F12-114 Futral Motorsports Custom Grind Camshaft - 230"/230" .591"/.591" 114LSA aggressive profile with a 2500-6800 RPM range, rough idle $ 399.99

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt

with only 2* duration of intake and exhaust seperating the cams the difference will be nill provided there both on the same lsa and icl.

If you want to get a cam now, Candy Futral made a post in the GP section showing that all their cams are on sale right now. I have an F-10 on a 112, but haven't gotten off of my *** to install it yet. But I do know it's a really good street / strip cam.

I have an F11 in my car and it is VERY streetable. My roomate is getting rid of his hotcam because he is pissed at the fact taht I have a much bigger cam with the same idle and driveability. We went to talk to Allan Futral to see if he could run the F13, and he said to run it because there really isn't much difference between the F11,F12,or F13. In fact, he said that he would not be able to tell which cam was which if they were idling next to each other. He says They all make identical midrange power, with the F13 making 6-8 more peak horsepower.

He also said that the motors tend to respond better to a split pattern, which the F12 is not, so if I were you I'd go with the F11 (228/230 .581/.591 112) or the F13 (230/232).

I have a F11 and another local has a F12 both on 112s both us have heads and Kooks 1 3/4 no cats in C5s. The F12 is just a bit lumpier but drives the same.

There is also a F10 112 in the club in a Z06 cam only running LG long tubes with cats. The F10 idles about the same as a Comp 224 XE-R maybe even milder.

If I did it again I'd go F13 on a 112. But I like a car that gives you a back massage at a red light, the wakes up all the neighbors. Talk to Allan he'll come up with something you'll like.

I have a M6, and I will probably be using the AC in the summer time.

i dont think its been said, but its all in the tune. these cams are the normal now a days, so tuners should have no prob tuning it. You could also do the mail order tune from Futral. Who knows the cam better than Alan??

Yep, you should definitely call Allan and talk to him about it. He is always willing to take time to talk to his customers, and his wife Candy is very knowledgable about the cams as well.
