Dyno results from my first cam install.. TR220
I had posted Monday about my first cam swap and that I was going to wait for a few days before I dyno'd the car...
Ok, I couldn't wait until Friday, so I called down to Walker dyno tune and asked them if I could come today. I drove down there and we strapped my baby down and did 3 pulls. My MAFT tune that I had when I arrived turned out to be the best one. The results were.... 381.7rwhp and 371.2rwtq!! That is a peak gain of 39rwhp and 12rwtq! The numbers at other points in the run were much greater than that! I can't wait to go to the track Sunday now. This was thru a full exhaust with NO CUTOUT, NO short belt, NO underdrive pulley, 17x11 wheels, and NO ported Throttle body! Once again... I love my car. The cam is a TR220 112lsa.

Sorry,... I forgot to post my sig. I have Jet hot coated hooker long tubes, jet hot offroad y pipe, B&B triflow exhaust, Spec Stage III clutch, and a MTI lid. That's all.

Awesome #'s! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I see no reason for using a TR 224/112 on stock heads when you can use this 220/112 and make nearly as much power.
BTW, your running a little lean in the 4-5,000rpm area. I wonder why?

Re: Dyno results from my first cam install.. TR220
I went 2% richer on my MAFT after that run and got identical hp and tq numbers with a better a/f ratio. The car has 14,000 miles on it and I have never changed the fuel filter on it! On the third pull I got the a/f down too rich (12.5 to 1) and lost 5 rwhp. I auto tap'd the car and it isn't getting any knock retard at the lean setting... so I'm going to run it that way until I install my heads and have it ls1edit tuned.

Yep, the 220 is a great cam. My car made 380/372 with it on a 114LSA.
gomer, it looks like your car is running a little lean up top.
