looks like some primitive port work i mean as far as port design and all
i realise it was done by a cnc kinda backwards from alot of my stuff but it looks like it may move some air if thats a 5.7 head i think it'll prolly backup before .600

whats the story on these heads?

I bought these from a user on here and the heads were done by CNC heads in florida. kinda thought they looked rough, but i'm no expert. Could i smothe these out with a dremmel or something? They are 5.7 heads....anyone else have a idea?

I think we'll need better pictures in order to help - they're badly out of focus.

does it look normal where the valve comes through? It just dosnt look very profesional to me. I was thinking of smothing it out with a dremmel. When you buy heads from like AFR do they look like this?

thats just the cnc bit.. thats fine. really can't get much smoother, without hand finishing.

Thats a normal CNC finish, if you are talking about the ripples that is nothing to worry about. I wish the pics we're better

Agreed. People may not want to comment because what they see may not be what is actually there because of the pic quality.

From what I can see they look like poop. Don't try to smooth them out if your dremel skills are anything like your picture taking skills!

The cnc finish is fine on the intake, you can smooth out the exhaust though. You need something bigger then a Dremmel,if you're going to smooth and blend get some abrasive sanding rolls. I f you have a air compressor go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a 25$ Cambell housefield air grinder it"ll work fine!Watch the valve seats!!!

If your camera is auto focus see if you have a close up (macro) position. Normally indicated by a flower symbol.
