Need help on cam choice for 5.3 heads
Hey I need some help on a cam selection for a stock bottom end ls1. The mods are as follows: ls6 intake, 5.3 tea stage 3 heads, longtubes, gmmg exhaust, the rest is stock. I want it driveable but I want to make some power too. I don't want to have to flycut the pistons either. Thanks

What is your power target? What is it to be used for? Heads milled or unnmilled? If so, how much? A4 or M6? Diff gears?
If you want suggestions the list all your mods and car specs.

Not discounting the suggestions so far but in an effort to gather as much input as possible I'd suggest calling Brian or Brent @ TEA and asking their opinion, they'd be glad to help out!

I sent an e mail to TEA with about the same question he thought I would be very pleased with their 230/226 .573/.570 on a 112+4. Anyone have expierience with this. I saw a dyno graph with almost the same cam and it looked great. tourqe was high along the entire graph and HP peaked in the neighberhood of 430 to 440.
