LS6 / Z06 Cam questions (easy)
I own a 2000 Camaro Z28 and am thinking about getting this cam. Right now I recived a pretty decent price for a 01 LS6 cam and the springs ($200). I wanted to know if I should go with this buy or look for a 02+ LS6 cam?
I can't seem to find a soild answer as to which is better. I've heard a little that the 02+ gives out more power (which I obviously want, but don't want to have to pay to much $). FYI: I also might be getting a Vig 3200 installed soon .

Its not as expensive as the other cams + I can get the springs ect and it seems to be giving out good gains (30-40hp).
Heck if I had money and if this wasen't my only car, then I'd get a really agressive cam and heads .

Re: LS6 / Z06 Cam questions (easy)
I agree. A guy over on LS1.com just dynoed with basic bolt ons.... lid, K@N, Y pipe and catback and picked up 36 rwhp on stock manifolds and stock tuning thru and A4. My LS6 cam swap was close to $300 and with my M6, ASP Pulley and Ported TB if I can hit high 360's or maybe 370 rwhp then I will be more than pleased for such a small sleeper cam.
