Question FMS F13 questions

I would like to know what kind of power its making, and issues people have with this cam.
Also I would like to hear one if anyone has a clip of it on a 112 LSA
LS1 sounds has some but they are on a 114LSA I figured it would have some more lope to it with 112.

thanks

search much? its makin great power, 400+ cam only, and the drivability can't be beat by a cam its size. its not a lopey cam at all, even on a 112+0. but...do you want power, or lope? i want power personally.

well I at least want it to sound like there is a good size cam in there but yes the HP is the important part. Tuning isn't he issue either, but I want it sound good with the cut out closed and insane with it open

well I would think this would lope harder than my Hotcam.
hot cam has a -.5 over lap and the F13 has a 7

Hard lope is fun for weekend drive or track, but power is what separates men from boys. That is why I chose my Stealth cam, sounds almost stock and attracts a lot of challenges especially from "lopers" who insist on finding out what it is like to be blown away by a "stock sounding car" on a healthy shot of nitrous.

If sound is what you're after, the f13 isn't the best choice. Mine is on a 114+4, but after tuning it doesn't sound much different than the stock cam. Its a little choppier, but not much.

i think i just found my cam. after a lot of researching and talking to a lot of people i found the f13 cam by chance. everything about it seems to fit my needs except the idle, but oh well, as long as the car hauls some serious ***.
how high does it peak, both hp and torque and where should it be shifted. i have an A-4 btw. thanks in advance.

I've heard this cam on a 112 lsa through an ory and cut-out with idle set around 800. let me tell you it definitely has a GOOD lope to it. For those who say it doesn't...you must be comparing it to a Trex or a Magic Stick. Get this cam on a 112 and it won't sound anything like stock. Also ask SS346LS1 for sound clips of his Fm14 running through Open Headers and through 2.5" true duals. It Sounds awesome....

Unhappy

I am not sure what cam you all are talking about!
But, I got to say that my FM 13 112+4 installed and degree on a 109 sound awesome, and lopes very well thought my Corsa (harder then most cam cars I have heard) and with the cutout open it is way more than I ever expected.

For a daily driver street cam I rate the lopey idle a 10 plus. When I pull up to a light everyone is looking and ask what the hell has been done to my car! Especially the 03 cobra, they weren’t a problem before but now they won’t even play now.

So far this cam is everything is was looking for and more especially in the lopey idle.

It drives very well and feels extremely strong. I will be out of town for a few weeks, when I return I will be installing a Racetronix fuel pump then WOT tuning. I am expecting 420hp with the 90/90 set-up

I thought my TSP 225 sounded good through the Hooker catback. It had an overlap of 1, and the FM13 is 7. So it should sound healthier than my old cam so that's good enough for me.

Hmmm, any comparison between the F13 and the Comp XE-R 231/237 .589 .595 112 or the Thunder Racing 230/236 .590/.598 112 ?

I'm setting up a set of 5.3 heads with 2.05" intakes, custom porting and chamber work. The car also has long tube headers, ORPs and the SLP 345hp airlid.

I'm hoping for 425-440RWHP.

(edit) ...and what about the F14????

hmm... what does the f13 112 off the shelf peak at? im not looking to shift to high.. if i have to shift at like 6800 that would kill my n2o times since i have to stop spraying at 6000ish'.. im looking to shift more like 6200-6400 on the n2o, and maybe 6500ish on motor? im ordering mine tommorow is there a certain way i should ask it be done? or should i just set the shift points on nitrous at 6100 with this cam, and let it shift where it needs to on motor?
