Default I want 500RWHP

I have 410RWHP and was thinking of doing heads. I was thinking 500 would be a nice round # is this possible. I have SLP lt headers and exhaust and a ported TB. I also have a tr 224/224 114 cam. I want it to be everyday friendly, what do I need to do?

500 rwhp and everyday friendly on a normally aspirated 346 is not going to happen. You will need a blower, turbo, nitrous, or 427 cubic inches.

Stock short-block, AFR 205s milled ?/1000, FM 13 cam w/114 lsa, NX 150 wet shot, and headers should do it.

Say there buddy,
Let me give a suggestion......TTP in New Jersey, talk to Matt. I have the guiney pig that we've put the numbers down, 491 rwhp/ 421 rwtq with no timing and pig rich 12:1 afr and heavy 19" iForged wheels - STOCK bottom end - 346.
Matt is doing an AFR 225/ Equalizer cam package, changing my TPiS headers with R/T hi-flo cats to Kook's 1-7/8 ss headers and full exhaust with cats. After my car he started the package and calls it the AFR/Equalizer Stage 3r and his pricing is EXCELLENT!!.
Tell him you were talking to me and I'm sure he can hook you up.
By the way, he's looking at well over 500 rwhp N/A - streetable - for me, you may have to change a few things on your current setup though.

But you will not need to pressurize!!

Where in MD are you? I'm in the Annapolis area.

The cheapest route is to get an STS rear mounted turbo with your mods. Unless you want radical N/A setup you WILL need a power adder to get 500 rwhp.

Hey there buddy!!!! Jeez, all the Z bruthas are on this board!! What are you all deserting Z06vette???!

Yep, she should be a handful!! Matt still has her for now, ended up pulling the TPiS off and going with Kook's. So he figured while he was that far he'd repull the heads and do a little polishing, heads were delayed in the machine shop. Then he has not done the full tune on it yet either so he's looking to squash the previous numbers.
He feels bad for having kept her for so long. Man he's a good guy, if you need some more work I definately recommend talking to Matt and George @ TTP (although Greg - AntiVenom - might be closer for you).
I hope to be able to meet up with you soon, maybe before the Fest for another preFest!!
Keep in touch boss!!
Mike

i have a friend locally that hit a lil over 400 with his M6 car and a even smaller cam and no tune... not impossible..

but i agree with you on the turbo part.... the only way you're going to have a reliable, tame, "toss the keys to your momma and she can drive it" daily driver, and get that much power, is using a power adder.. either boost or nitrous...

easy answer?

its wintertime. cold dense day can make alot of power.... dont always assume that the hp numbers have been corrected perfectly....... rather then worry about the 20hp more he claims to have, just worry more about the question on hand.....

bro with this cam honestly you wont reach anything ..........

most hp you probably you could go through is 460 to 480 no more with a 346ci .

go for lgmotorsports big cams and a 225cc afr heads and a spray === i gurantee 570+

if not more..

u dont want 500 rwhp with 346 ci NA its just not healthy. you should look into forced induction, besides, 500rwhp is nothing for forced induction, you can go much bigger.
