PRC Heads What Cam?
I know everybody is going to tell me to do a search but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info out there on these heads. I was wanting to see what a good cam choice would be to accompany these heads in the TSP package so it will have to come from them. I have a 1998 Trans Am m6 under 50,000 on the clock will be putting on an LS6 intake and Pacesetter race style headers to an ory going through a Magnaflow catback. It is still a daily driven car at the moment so I need some driveablity and reliance. Any help is much appreciated. Forgot to add they are 5.3L stage 2.5 heads

The TSP 232/234 Torquer cam works well, and so does the 233/239 cam. You lose some off-idle to 2500 RPM torque and power, but you pick up significant amounts after 4000.
If you want to flycut your pistons, the Magic Stick 237/242 will make the best numbers on the dyno and track. If you want a nice street car with good power everywhere, something like the 225/225 might be a good choice. All the cams can be tuned to work well for a daily driver, but it's up to you as to what you want. Give TSP a call; they'll steer you straight.

I'm currently in contact with them also. They are good people. They are the only ones out of the three shops I emailed to reply. Just thought I would get some other opinions as well.

Those are good numbers. I might have to get this in a month or so. I wonder what it would take to get 425-450 out of them????

CNTLSE 1- There's lots of good cam choices, just depends on what kind of setup you want. If you are looking for something that has great street manners and still give good numbers, look at the 228/228 camshaft, or if you're wanting something more aggressive, look at our Torquer v2 or the 233/239.
