RaNsOm, yes it did actually, you have to scroll all the way down.
SAM98WS6, shouldnt you edit the title since the rockers in that post where NOT reused? He didnt have a cam in yet, or springs or anything else that would require the rockers to be removed. And I bet there is a correlation to those with **** stock rockers and running low oil, but of course we'll never know.
mrr23, if they werent such a PITA to setup maybe more ppl would buy them, that and the sniveling weight issue (yeah I read the propaganda the weight is not over the valve tip....).
I would venture to say there are more successful stories of the stockers going quick, then stockers shitting the bed. And whats the quickest Vinci rockered car (sounds like a new title for some lil title *****).

LS1 rockers are still some of the best out there.
And there is a cure:
Send the stockers to Nasty Performance for a Harland Sharp rebuild. New trunions and C-CLIP to prevent spilts bearings in the future.

I just pulled my rocker arms off about 30 minutes ago during my cam install. Every one of them are in excellent condition. Car has about 85k and I drive it pretty rough. I'll be putting these back on without hesitation. Time to finish

One of my stock ones exploded, and I got Yella Teras which caused valved float.
I then did what Predator Z mentioned, and sent my stock ones to Nasty, which realy sends them out to Harland Sharm and they rebuild them. They replace all the bearings as well, not just the trunions and c-clips. They are holding up fine so far.

in the autocross arena, here in florida, there's mike edstrom. been points champion for the last two years. in oregon, there's marv wodtli that won his class.

My stock rockers were perfect too...until they let loose way back when...
Im just pointing out it happens more than you think...and that car was stock and never apart..just like the LS1s that roll into dealers with rocker arm failures..my mechanic buddy has repaired a few..
Im not telling you not to reuse your stock ones...do what you want...
