That cam should be fine with a stall & tune. I would get at least a 3200+ rpm stall tho.

It has been questionable lately.

But yeah, If you plan on spraying it in the future...that would be the only reason i would get a 114 on that cam. 112 should work fine.

we had that cam with a 3600 converter it felt as good as the stock cam after a tune made 380/385 with unported 5.3 heads and a 3.73 12bolt

why would that make a difference? i understand that cams shouldnt be spray specific unless you spray over 200, and the 112lsa should only really lower the peak hp a few hundred rpm,i dont understand why it the lsa makes a difference in theis scenario

i do not plan on spraying. let me ask what cam would be best with an auto...

f13
tr224
tourquer 2

i dont rev my engine very high, right now only 5500 maybe a little more when i get a cam but that is y i was gonna go with 112lsa...they make more lower rpm power than a higher lsa is that correct. any suggestions or input would be great. thank you

Default tr224

I have the TR224 on 112 with a SY3500. This is a really loose converter until you get use to it but after a while I didn't even notice it there. There car pulls really good from 3K to 6K. It's not the biggest cam out there but I didn't really want all that. Just something with a little street kick and easy on the springs. I am very happy with my setup. Oh yeah that's with 3.23 gears
