Default heads for f13 cam

Ok guys i searched and couldnt find any thread on what would be the best budget heads to go with an f13 cam. Ive been looking at patriot heads since they seem to be a good price. I dont know if i would want the ls6 or 5.3 style though, then if i got the ls6 would i want the 2.02"/1.57"/59cc. or the 2.055"/1.57"/64cc. The car is daily driven and will prob. get a 150 shot of n20 this summer.

Thanks,
Brandon

Brandon you may also look at the PRC LS6 cylinder heads we have on HUGE SPECIAL!! If you get some extra time give me a call, we have a new nitrous setup exhaust port that I can put into a LS6 head that would work really well The last set I finished went close 314cfm @ .600 with a 2.02 valve!!

so if i was to get the ls6 heads why are would the 2.00/1.55 valves be better than the 2.02"/1.57"/59cc or the 2.055"/1.57"/64cc. Also I will be spraying a 150 shot on these.

I'm also considering an f13 cam, and the 243 castings from patriot. would that require fly-cutting? or should it go smoothly? and what numbers to expect with bolt-ons. thanks guys

ALWAYS check PTV clearance. We have had many, many customers use the F13 with our heads without any PTV issues.

I ran an F13, with Patriot stage II LS6 heads. Didnt have any PtoV clearence issues. That cam will clear a 2.02 valve perfectly, no flycutting required. The Patriot LS6's/F13 seem to be a stought little combo. I think its blk01ss or something like that, running 11.1xx's with this combo.

Brandon- Just FYI. I ran my setup with a 62cc head, 2.02 intake valve, 1.60 exhaust valve. This put the CR right around 10.7-1 with the stock thickness gasket. I had the TNT F1 kit spraying 100-150. So you'll be fine. Good luck!

Never made it to the dyno. I got everything installed, drove it around for awhile then I spun a rod bearing so I had to pull the motor. If I had to guess what it would have made, I would guess around 400 or so on the motor then little over 500 on the jug. Autos suck on the dyno. Its track times that count!
